Article Processing Charge

The Interpretation: Journal of Tafsir and Hadith Studies is an open-access journal that operates under the principles of transparency, accountability, and fairness. As part of our commitment to these principles, we charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) to authors whose manuscripts have been accepted for publication.

The APC is a one-time fee that covers the costs associated with the publication process, including peer review, editing, formatting, and online hosting. The APC is $500 per article, and it is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

We believe that the APC is a necessary step to ensure the sustainability and quality of our journal. The revenue generated from the APC will be used to:

  • Support the peer review process, including the payment of reviewer fees and the maintenance of our online peer review system.
  • Enhance the quality of our editorial and production processes, including the hiring of professional editors and the use of high-quality formatting and design.
  • Develop and maintain our online platform, including the costs associated with hosting, security, and maintenance.

We are committed to transparency and accountability in our APC policy. We adhere to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and we ensure that our APC is clearly stated and easily accessible to authors.

All articles published in the Interpretation: Journal of Tafsir and Hadith Studies are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY), which allows for the free distribution and reuse of published articles.

We use a double-blind review process to ensure the integrity and quality of our peer review process. Our reviewers are experts in their fields, and they provide rigorous and constructive feedback to authors.

By paying the APC, authors are supporting the publication of their work in a high-quality, open-access journal that is committed to academic excellence and integrity.
