Peer Review Process
The Interpretation: Journal of Tafsir and Hadith Studies adheres to a rigorous and transparent peer review process, ensuring the highest standards of academic integrity and quality. Our journal operates under the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), upholding the principles of fairness, confidentiality, and accountability.
The review process is double-blind, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This approach enables unbiased and objective evaluations of manuscripts, focusing solely on the content, methodology, and contribution to the field.
Our journal employs a two-stage review process:
- Initial screening: The editorial team assesses the manuscript's relevance, originality, and adherence to the journal's scope and guidelines.
- Peer review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers for in-depth evaluation. Reviewers provide constructive feedback on the manuscript's strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions for improvement.
All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY), allowing for maximum dissemination and reuse of research findings.
